Contrary to what most people believe, essential oils are not just for women. Sure, the blokes may seem like they won't touch it with a ten-foot pole but have you seen reviews on essential oil websites? Countless tales of girlfriends making their partners woodsy colognes and natural beard oils. Wives recounting how their husbands rely on Peppermint for everyday aches and pains. Deny it all you want but men are starting to appreciate the therapeutic benefits of essential oils.

After Shave Soother

Men are all too familiar with post-shave troubles. There's razor bumps, minor nicks and cuts, ingrown hairs, skin irritation, and more. Make your man an essential oil convert with this cooling and refreshing after-shave soother. Unlike alcohol-based formulas, this will keep their skin fresh and hydrated without the drying and stinging effects!

Men's Cologne

What's better than receiving store-bought perfumes? Getting a personalised fragrance, that's what! This recipe is perfect for the family's stressed out dad as it will help to calm and ground him.

Calming Cologne 

Ingredients:

6 drops Buddha Wood

2 drops Bergamot

1 drop Patchouli

Carrier Oil

10ml Roller Bottle

Instructions:

Add essential oils to roller bottle. Fill with carrier oil. Roll on wrists and breathe!

 

Quick and Simple Foot Odour Buster

There's a reason why men's shopping lists often include deodorised insoles and foot spray. Give this all natural recipe a try instead - it's quick, easy and cheap!

 Foot Odour Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Tblsp Bicarb Soda

4 drops Deodorizing Synergy

Instructions:

Put the bicarb soda into a small ziploc bag. Add oil and shake well. Allow to dry and then separate the clump back into powder. Dust the feet with powder, and leave 1/2 teaspoon in shoes overnight - tap powder out in the morning.

Ingredients:

3 drops Sandalwood

3 drops Cedarwood

2 drops Clary Sage

1 drop Ho Wood

20ml Sweet Almond Oil

Instructions:

Blend essential oils with carrier oil in a 30ml bottle. Massage and enjoy!
