Rosehip Carrier Oil Extra Virgin - Plant Therapy

  • Unrefined vs refined carrier oil, which one is better for skincare? When it comes to your DIY facial products, you may want to use an unrefined or extra virgin carrier oil. Why? The minimal processing results in a higher-quality, closer-to-nature oil with most nutrients and active compounds intact! Basically, the more refined an oil is, the less potent it becomes.

Plant Therapy's Rosehip carrier oil was derived from a single pressing and thus retained most of its nutrients. It's rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin E, and C which makes it an essential component in DIY creams, face serum, massage oil, lotions, body oils, and more.

Vitamin A or retinol promotes cell regeneration that prevents signs of ageing and enhances our skin's elasticity and firmness. The rest of the organic compounds are also responsible for keeping our skin hydrated and moisturised for a soft, supple, and younger-looking skin!

Aromatically, don't expect Rosehip carrier oil to smell like roses. It's cold-pressed from rosehip seeds and has a nutty, earthy scent. While it may seem a little heavy compared to other carrier oils, it actually absorbs very quickly and won't leave your skin feeling greasy. A tiny drop goes a long way so use it all over your body too!

Aromatic Scent: Rosehip Oil has a distinct earthy, nutty aroma.

    Botanical Name: Rosa rubiginosa

Shelf Life: 6-9 months (refrigerate after opening).

Consistency: Typical of many carrier oils.

Based in Twin Falls, Idaho, Plant Therapy was established in 2011 and is a leading supplier of organic essential oils, carrier oils, pre-diluted roll-ons, and more. All of their oils are 100% pure and free from any additives, adulterants or dilutions.
