Bergamot, Patchouli, Blood Orange, Ylang Ylang Complete, Grapefruit Pink.

Whoever said that life is going to be a breeze? Quite the opposite. When you're juggling a full-time job and several kids, expect life to get a little testy. One moment things are unexpectedly going so well that it's making you nervous and the next, there's an avalanche of problems. Hot water suddenly stopped working, your toddler throws a tantrum on your way out, the printer jammed, and your boss is getting on your case all the time. How do you even stay sane?

The key is staying calm and keeping your cool. Easier said than done, right? When deep breathing is not enough to pull you back from the edge, perhaps this Tranquil Synergy essential oil can. Formulated to help you beat your worries and relax mentally, physically, and emotionally, apply to your wrists, inner elbows, or upper chests as needed.

Exuding a bright and heavenly scent, this blend of Bergamot, Patchouli, Blood Orange, Ylang Ylang Complete, Grapefruit Pink can help create a more tranquil environment for your peace of mind and wellbeing!

Based in Twin Falls, Idaho, Plant Therapy was established in 2011 and is a leading supplier of organic essential oils, carrier oils, pre-diluted roll-ons, and more. All of their oils are 100% pure and free from any additives, adulterants or dilutions.

How to use Essential Oils

Diffuse

Add 2-4 drops of essential oil to your diffuser after having added water to the fill line. Some oils may require 4-8 drops to be added.

Massage

Essential oils should always be diluted before applying to the skin. Blend essential oil with coconut oil, almond oil or any other suitable carrier oil for massage.

Inhalation

Essential oils suitable for inhalation should be diluted by adding 1-2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming water. Place a towel over your head and the bowl of water. With your eyes closed, inhale the scent for up to 5 minutes at a time.

Other uses

You can add 3-5 drops of essential oil to a full bath of water, or onto a face washer placed in the bottom of your shower.

Rollerbottles are handy for ‘on the go’ applications – simply fill a rollerbottle with your preferred carrier oil and add some drops of your essential oil. You can also fit a rollerball top to an essential oil bottle rather than using a separate bottle – make sure to dilute your oil however. If that sounds like too much work, you can simply purchase ready made rollerbottles.

Essential oils are great additions to bases to make your own personal care items such as soaps, face creams or shampoos. You can also use essential oils to help cut down on chemicals in your cleaning supplies. Make sure to check out our blog articles for more ideas!

Safety Cautions

Essential oils are natural, but they are also concentrated. We recommend following basic safety precautions when using your oils:

  • Essential oils should not be ingested, unless it is under the guidance of a suitably qualified practitioner.

  • Do not use oils undiluted on the skin, unless the instructions permit otherwise. Many oils can cause irritation when placed directly on skin, particularly on sensitive areas such as the eyes or mouth. Some oils (particularly those in the citrus family) can cause photosensitivity if used prior to going out in the sun - please check instructions carefully.

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your healthcare practitioner prior to using essential oils. As a general guideline, oils should be avoided for the first four months of pregnancy and never used undiluted. Some oils should be avoided during pregnancy: Bay, Basil, Cedar wood, Clary Sage, Comfrey, Cypress, Fennel, Ginger, Hyssop, Jasmine, Juniper, Lemongrass, Marjoram, Melissa, Myrrh, Peppermint, Rose, Rosemary, Sage & Thyme.

  • Children can be particularly affected by essential oils. Some oils should not be used in children under the age of 7, and specific dilution ratios are recommended depending on the essential oil and the age of the child. We recommend consulting an appropriate practitioner prior to using oils on children.
